Claudia López Moncada

My research and teaching focus on human-centered computing. My work spans two broad areas: human-centered artificial intelligence and social computing. In addition to being a faculty member at the University of Chile, I am a principal investigator at the National Center for Artificial Intelligence (CENIA). I currently serve on the Senior Program Committee for ACM CSCW 2026 and on the Steering Committee for ChileWiC, the Chilean celebration of Women in Computing. From 2015 to early 2026, I was a faculty member in the Department of Informatics at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María.
